90 Cheap Street, Sherborne, Dorset, DT9 3BJ
We admit, we’re a bit of a hidden gem, even if we do say so ourselves. You’ll find Cafe D’Urberville right in the heart of Sherborne, overlooking the conduit and marketplace, towards the bottom of Cheap Street. Look for the D’Urberville sign and our big blue door, across the marketplace from our friendly neighbours The Cross Keys, and next to The Sherborne Museum. Once through the door, head straight up stairs, following the smell of coffee, and we’ll reward you with a comfy seat and something to eat.
Both day and evening, we take bookings for tables of six or more.
Last reservations on a Friday, 8:30pm.
If you would like to make a reservation, please give us a call on 07769 982 404.
Unfortunately, we don’t have onsite parking, however being very central you’ll find ample, well sign posted car parking nearby, across the town.
Our building dates back to 1658, and while beautiful, is unfortunately not the most accessible. The cafe and shop are both located on the first floor, which requires climbing 20 or so stairs.
There is a limited amount of space for pushchairs and other items to be left on the ground floor, however we politely say we cannot take any responsibility for these items, and they are left at the owner’s discretion.
For a table of 6 people or more, day or night, please call us to book your table!
